Driven deep into the underground wood of any concreted-in post and securely screwed into place, Post Buddy simply re-joins the 2 parts of the snapped post like a splint. Post Buddy is strong enough to support any size fence post, yet flexible enough to allow adjustment before the final fix. The fence post is once again solid and upright, prolonging the life of your fence for many years to come. Full installation instructions with your order.

After one fence post breaks, the unsupported weight of that section will start to pull down the adjacent fence posts, eventually causing the whole fence to collapse

Why do wood fence posts break?

Lumber posts usually decay in places where they come into contact with damp soil
This means that wood fence posts often rot at ground level, just above the concrete base,
but are still solid below and above this damaged area

I had a post rotting out below the ground line in a spot that gets only a short window of sun during the day. The post supported a single 1.5 foot section of fence and a gate latch, and had gotten to where it could lean 30 degrees or so backwards. These shored it right up and it's basically solid now.

I probably spent more time worrying about installing these and watching a video on it than it actually took to do. The post buddy slid right in between footer and post with the help of a 3lb hammer. Followed the instructions for lining up and screwing it in and was done. Took maybe 15 minutes. Way better than digging up and redoing just a single post, glad I gave these a shot.
