Driven deep into the underground wood of any concreted-in post and securely screwed into place, Post Buddy simply re-joins the 2 parts of the snapped post like a splint. Post Buddy is strong enough to support any size fence post, yet flexible enough to allow adjustment before the final fix. Post Buddy can be used for 6" x 6" posts that are on 6 foot high fence

I normally do not write reviews, but had to share this information. We have a 17 year old fence and 2 years ago we had to have 3 posts replaced. Without notice we woke up last week with our fence sagging and appeared someone was pulling the fence or trying to climb it. We researched all different items and order different items to see what would be sturdy for such large posts. After we went to Lowes/Home Depot and compared everything we order online, we decided to use the Post Buddy system. We saw some bad reviews with the 6x6 posts, so we decided to double up on them. We had to use the system on each side of post because the pickets are in the center of each side post. We put 2 bars on one side and 1 bar on the other. We decided since the fence was leaning outside, to use the 2 bars to pull the post up on inside of fence and 1 bar on the outside of the fence for support. It is working great! You can't really move the post at all when you push slightly and it doesn't move when you put further pressure on it. We put the supports on the next one that was slightly loose to give it support. We wanted to secure the posts so the rest of the posts/panels do not have pressure on them and eventually make the rest loose or break. So far so good for a week. If anything changes, I will update review. We hope we can get a couple years our of them and bought extra when any others become loose or break. Hope this helps anyone with 6x6 posts that support a 6 foot privacy fence.

My gate post finally gave up when our gardener stood on the gate, completely snapped. The post is 200x200mm and the gate is heavy. Using all four Post Buddy's the post is now erect and can hold the weight of the gate. I'm amazed it worked. Not a long term solution but it does the job for now.
