I absolutely loved this book. The pictures were great and represented many towns/cities throughout Vermont. I was able to use parts of it in a class that I created about Barre,Vermont, It was very interesting and very informative about the importance of our Main Streets and life among them. Well work the read and price.

I stumbled upon this book at our local library. (Yes, I am lucky enough to live in Vermont!) I was enjoying the book way too much to return it so I purchased it through Amazon.com!

Very informative book and wonderful pictures of days gone by. I am a home schooling mom and I will be using this book as a tool for my child's Vermont history. We will be visiting some of the locations shown in the book. I highly recommend this book!

Well written history covering a subject readers will warm to. It's been on my shelf for more than a year, and I still pull it down to look up something. Great book
