There are many books on eschatology and many different positions that it’s hard to know where to start. Andrew’s primer here, regardless of path you take, it get place to start. Andrew lays out all the major positions what Scriptures they hinge their views on. I just finished my second reading of this book with a small group and it was very helpful.

Dr. Sandlin has done an excellent job explaining what Postmillennialism is. I hear so many from other eschatological views totally misrepresent this view. The pre tribulationionalist, dispensationalist are the worst. They for some reason believe they’re the only ones who evangelizes. Our LORD JESUS CHRIST commanded that all who follow HIM are to go into the world!! Before the seventeenth century this was the prevalent belief.

I was brought to this book by Apologia Studios and their recent Podcast with Mr. Sandlin, and I must say Andrew does a phenomenal job collating all of the material concerning the 4 major interpretations of Eschatology and makes a strong case for Postmillennialism backed by scripture and Church History. This is important to know, because incorrectly interpreted, Eschatology can be an uninspiring topic. But when correctly interpreted with the assistance of Andrew, it is the most inspiring piece of the Bible we as Christians sustain to not only uphold the Great Commission, but also our First Commission as Mr. Sandlin so esoterically outlines in the aforementioned Podcast. Thank you for your hard work brother.

Very good brief intro into eschatology

While the book is primarily focused on the post millennial position, it is a good introduction to all major eschatological schools of thought. It’s certainly an academic book with a ton of biblical references, but anyone who has a spiritual desire to learn more about eschatology should be able to navigate it. I found the book challenging, but very helpful.
