I've owned this hedge trimmer for a couple of years now and always meant to write a review. I find myself cringing every time I notice that I must use this trimmer. In fact, I've gone back to my wired trimmer for the bulk of my trimming through light hedge and boxwoods, and have put in my order for Fathers' Day for a lithium battery trimmer. This trimmer is very powerful and very, very heavy. I am 6'-2", well over 200 pounds and am not challenged by almost any physical activity requiring brute force ... but this trimmer wears me out within minutes. Unless you can make your cuts with your arms tucked into your body, the strength required to extend your arms while holding this machine is exhausting. The most annoying feature by far for me is the position of the motor venting. Many of my hedges are about or slightly above eye-level, and to lift the machine to that height to make the cuts means that the exhaust is hitting me directly in the face. I can make the cuts for as long as I can hold my breath ... and then spend a few minutes hacking my lungs out.
