Praise for the Bookmobile Cat Mystery Series:
“Charming... Librarian Minnie Hamilton is kindhearted, loyal, and resourceful. And her furry sidekick, Eddie, is equal parts charm and cat-titude. Fans of cozy mysteries—and cats—will want to add this series to their must-read lists.”—New York Times bestselling author Sofie Kelly
"Lending a Paw is a pleasurable, funny read. Minnie is a delight as a heroine, and Eddie could make even a staunch dog-lover more of a cat fan."—RT Book Reviews
"Charms with a likable heroine, feisty and opinionated cat, and multi-dimensional small-town characters."—Kings River Life Magazine
"With humor and panache, Cass delivers an intriguing mystery and interesting characters."—Bristol Herald Courier (VA)

It's springtime and Minnie has moved back to her houseboat, from her aunt Frances boardinghouse, is planning a community book fair and she & Eddie are busy with the bookmobile. Minnie is surprised to hear one of her patrons, Henry Gill, has died in a maple sugar making accident. While delivering books to another patron, Adam Deering, he tells her he doesn't believe Henry's death was an accident, what he witnessed and that someone may be out to do him harm. Minnie agrees to look into Henry's death and update the understaffed Chilson police department of her findings. When Minnie gets too close, Eddie's life is in danger and Minnie finds herself confronting a killer.
There are changes coming, for Minnie, in romance (thank goodness) and, possibly, her job. I look forward to the next book, in this series, and another visit with Minnie and Eddie.
