I wear an 8.5 and the 8.5 toe box is a little too tight but the the 9, the back slips out. I plan on having the toe box stretched and go from there...super sexy! I noted others had similar issues ..
I purchased another color from a different seller and the 8.5 fits differently and not as comfortable. My theory is that the newer makes of Irina fit better and are more comfortable.
In short, these shoes are great. Pour La Victoire will DEFINITELY be my go-to brand for pumps from now on! So, if you're on the fence, go for them--you won't regret it.
I'm a true size 6 and I got my shoes true to size. However, I find one foot heel slipping from the shoe, but this is someting a foot petal can easily fix.. Don't think sizing down is necessary, my toebox would be uncomfortable in a smaller size.
Also, I have quite feet that are on the narrow size, and width wise these are perfect to a bit tight. Wide feet, be aware of this.
I bought the 8 and 8 1/2 based on the reviews. I'm a very solid 8 in everything else but the heel height and the reviews made me add an 8 1/2 to my cart. Definitely true to size! I had heel looseness and slippage in the 8 1/2 but the 8 was the right amount of new shoe snug. I've been wearing them on the sofa for tv time and walking about my place so that their unveiling out won't bring me kudos AND pain! All said, a very pretty and very sexy shoe. TTS. The kid nappa is lovely...worth the purchase even if you can afford $500 for Louboutins (which I can and love but a party shoe should not cost more than $300). Re Loubs, I love the Simple 100s for the office!
