About the Author
It has been along the Road Less Traveled that Judith found her way to becoming a Life Coach and author. Not one to take the short, direct path, she has accumulated many life experiences along the way. These, of course, have helped her to be a better coach. Following her graduation in 1990 from The Evergreen State College in Olympia Washington, she moved to El Salvador where she was determined to learn more about life and people. “I discovered what it is like to be a Stranger in a Strange Land, and I learned to communicate in an entirely new way - and to be quiet and listen.” Upon her return to the United States in 1996, she attended Pacific University and received her Masters Degree in Teaching. It was through taking advantage of life experiences that she learned about The Centre For Coach Training in Portland Oregon where she took classes and graduated as a Certified Professional Life Coach. She has since become a member of the Northwest Coaching Association, which is part of the International Coach Federation. In a constant desire to improve her skills, she has also attained training in EFT (tapping), NLP and as a Reiki Practitioner. She holds certifications as a Cognitive Rehab Therapist, Crisis and Peer Counselor. “I am a "Baby Boomer" and enjoy all the fun and challenges that come with growing older.” Judith is available for speaking engagements and to facilitate workshops. She promises that everyone will have a fun time, as she believes that “laughter is the best medicine on the market.”

diversions we place in our daily lives which hamper achieving our goals. The book is very fun to read (and humorous as well!), and Judith provides exercises (such as journal writing) which are meant to be thought-provoking and meditative--in that we mindfully consider what is important to us regarding not only goal-setting, but also in life. If you feel you are currently "stumped" or feel stagnant, please read this book!
