I admit Sanford Greene's art can be an acquired taste. It's just not for some, but then I was a big Bill Sienkiewicz and Frank Miller fan in the late 80's and some people just didn't like it at all. I say to each their own. I appreciate art, especially comic book art, for it's variances and the fact that not everything needs to look like Romita to be legit. Yeah, I can get into the more "traditional" comic art like Larroca or classic Byrne, but I say shake things up once in awhile. You gotta admit the cover is awesome!
Do yourself a favor and give this book a chance. It deserves a good look. I think at the very least you'll find it to be a fun read.
I know I'm really looking forward to Vol 2.

The writing is amazing and the art is wonderful i couldn't stop reading it, i love seeing luke and danny back together with the back and forth banter between them this is the best Power Man and Iron Fist (HFH) comic I've ever read!!!
Eventually he was teamed up with another semi-successful hero in issue 50, Iron Fist, and this couple established a buddy genre rarely seen in other Marvel books, Heroes for Hire.
In the nineties Cage could support 20 issues of a solo title, later there was a team book Heroes for Hire, that lasted for 19 issues.
Finally he was rewrapped, lost his hair and grew some where he had been shaved before, and eventually joined the New Avengers and married Jessica Jones. He grew popular, led several Avengers teams and was one of the few heroes having a family. His Power Man name was taken by a young upstart, and he went by the name Cage only.
And now the boys are back. Are they back? This question alone is one of the running gags of the newest emulation of Power Man and Iron Fist. I have never been into these two characters, but the previews looked too promising, so I gave it a try. I have to say this is one of the best books of the latest Marvel Now! line.
The balance of suspense and humor, the artful characterization, the modern and classic approach at the same time make this book a fun read. Bringing back characters like Black Mariah, making fun of Doctor Strange who “doesn’t know street magic”, guest appearances of street level peer characters like Spider-Woman just makes you want more. If you do not want the universe destroyed every week, if you like “minor” books like Spider-Woman or Ant-Man, you will love this stuff. For me it might be the substitute medication for the – alas – cancelled Drax. The new Power Man and Iron Fist is the buddy book Spider-Man/Deadpool tries to be.
David Walker and Sanford Greene are a congenial duo on writing and art. They both said that writing this book together was a dream turned reality giving those characters their voices. And colorist Lee Loughridge always finds a new yellow shirt in the wardrobe to be destroyed in a fight to the pain of Jessica.
A bit confusing was that this book was solicitated containing #1-6, in fact it’s only #1-5. It also does not contain the issue 4.1 of the crossover with Deadpool.
I only hope sales stay stable to keep this book. I will be there as long as it lasts.
Je trouve que cela manque de certains détails.
Le choix des couleurs me dérange un peut.
I look forward to the 2nd volume
