“A new generation of evolutionary guides is emerging. I recommend Padma Prakasha as a genuine spiritual coach who can help to transmute what stands in the way of your awakening. His work holds the light and power of change and deep transformation, a sort of ‘cosmic’ readjustment that speeds up a person’s evolutionary process.” (Margot Anand, author of The Art of Sexual Ecstasy)
“An excellent sourcebook for both women and men, every page of The Power of Shakti provides new insight into the rich, vibrant energy of the Divine Feminine. It offers a profound pathway to understanding the power and potency of this essential feminine current as it flows through the sacred temple of the physical body, linking us to the Galactic Center. In these shifting times of planetary transformation, this book assists us in rediscovering our intimate connection to nature, the earth, and the cosmos.” (Sharron Rose, author of The Path of the Priestess and film producer of 2012 The Odyssey and Timewave)
“The Power of Shakti is revolutionary and is bound to open the gates that have kept us from our true power as both men and women. It taps in to the heart of the ancient mysteries and articulates their modernday message to we humans. Reading this material or attending Padma Prakasha’s seminars will rock your world.” (Linda Star Wolf, author of Shamanic Breathwork and coauthor of Shamanic Mysteries of Egypt: Awakenin)
“The Power of Shakti will revitalize your life by revealing the patterns of energy that flow between the physical body and the galactic universe. Equally esoteric and practical, it offers illuminating insight into holistic health through scholarly understanding of the body’s dynamic light field. The author’s profound integrity, knowledge, and experience enrich every page. This is not an ordinary book; it is unique, provocative, and fresh.” (Isha Lerner, author of The Triple Goddess Tarot and Inner Child Cards)
" . . . it's women who will find this most powerful, and new age collections that will benefit from its wisdom and spiritual teachings." (The Midwest Book Review, Oct 2009)

NEW AGE / SELF-TRANSFORMATION
“A new generation of evolutionary guides is emerging. I recommend Padma Prakasha as a genuine spiritual coach who can help to transmute what stands in the way of your awakening. Shakti is the Divine life force that ceaselessly manifests, creates, and activates. Igniting this living power within is the key for both men and women to transform themselves and attain union, harmony, and peace. The fluid intelligence of Shakti enflames, empowers, and awakens the life force, joy, and organic wisdom within.
Uniting the forms of Tantra Yoga found in Indian, Tibetan, and Aramaic sacred traditions, Padma Aon Prakasha reveals how to activate the power of Shakti by opening the 18 energetic pathways of the Shakti Circuit. The circuit begins with galactic energy entering the body at the Alta Major chakra, located at the back of the head. Traveling down the pillar of the spine through the root chakra, the circuit passes through the seven gates of the Grail Womb to link the sacred sexual center and the heart center. From the heart, the energy completes the circuit by traveling to the third eye and back to the Alta Major starting point to reveal the all-seeing eye.
Centered on the womb in women and the hara in men, the Shakti Circuit links the soul, bodymind, emotions, and chakras to the power and loving wisdom of the Galactic Center. The Power of Shakti includes the insights and experiences of both men and women as they activate the power of Shakti and shows that clearing all 18 pathways of the Shakti Circuit enables us to activate our sacred sexual self and find our soul mission.
PADMA AON PRAKASHA, a child prodigy who read the Bhagavad Gita at age 4 and the Koran and Bible by age 7, is an Initiate in Saivite Tantra, the Sama Veda, and the Tibetan Buddhist Lineage of Tsongkhapa and Maitreya. He teaches worldwide and has led initiatory pilgrimages to sacred sites in 15 countries since 1998. He lives in London.

The teachings draw on chakra meditation, mantra and visualization work, other inner energy work, and sacred sexuality. Many of the latter teachings are meant to be practiced with a sexual partner, but there is also plenty of material here that does not require that. Although above I said this work is accessible, I meant compared to the traditional Tantric yogic and Buddhist texts I have read, which are highly symbolic and hard to follow without formal instruction. I think this book would still be a bit tough for someone to follow who had never been exposed to any energy work or mappings at all, i.e. chakras, mantra work, etc.
The philosophical framework and language of this book would probably be classified 'new age', so that may not appeal to some people. But I highly recommend getting over that, because I think this book has a lot to offer, and has a powerful empowerment behind it too.
For those interesting in chakras, energy work of any type, and/or feminine spirituality, I highly recommend!
2 stars because the book pretty much fails to help me to achieve this goal. I was misled by high marks of others
and comments that the book is meant for both men and women (Divine Woman should basically mean female energy, not
First, the book is pretty useless for men, as 200+ pages are devoted to praise womb, and the whole book talks
about women. The author repeats in different ways how womb is powerful, how it is connected to the Moon, Galactic
Centre etc., how all women are connected and how great it is to have a "good" womb and how awful it is to have a
"bad" womb, and how you can become divine if you take good care of your womb (which you can do by going to the
workshop or retreat). This stuff goes on and on and on. There is a mix of emotional, social and metaphysical
discussions that can be found everywhere and which can easily fill up another 2000+ pages.
So what about the promised stuff: 18 pathways to ignite the Shakti? Well, there are a few exercises here and
there. The author talks about 7 gates and gives exercises to open them (pages 115-118).
Here are 2 examples. To open "the Sixth Gate: Visualize a cross within a vesica piscis. Relax, and be silent to
whatever arises within you". To open "the Seventh Gate: Surrender into eternal womb". You decide if such
exercises would be helpful to you.
Totally there are no more than 8-10 pages with exercises. The whole book reads as an introduction and when it
gets interesting the author refers the reader to his workshop /retreat without explaining any technique.
There are just a couple of drawings in the book. One of the drawings shows 7 Gates - part of a circuit, which
should be ignited. Unfortunately I did not find any reference to why those 7 Gates are in the depicted places...
One thing that puzzles me is this: Why would a man (the author is a man) write a book about energies in the womb?
How can he know it? How is he experiencing it? And if he has no experience of what he is writing about, what is
then the value of his writing?
