Now I just need to upgrade my blender to really improve my smoothie game.
I think it’s really helpful that the book isn’t just recipes but about how smoothies can either help you lose weight or add more muscle. Plus the recipes do look delicious!
There are some great tips on organic foods and how to be practical about when to buy those pricey organics. The breakdowns on each specific food and its nutritional value seems a bit unnecessary but the write-ups that go with them are full of really helpful information and how they work well in smoothies. I also really like high anti-oxidant food chart that helps break down options for smoothie ingredients.
Next step though is upgrading my cheapo blender…
This book is organized well from beginning to end. It has different smoothie based diets for carb-boosting for a work out, to a weight lost, an immune-boosting smoothie and so much more. I really bought this book for just a couple of different smoothies’ recipes, hoping I could mix up my son’s smoothie diet. This book gave me more than just recipes.
