The battery failed after only two months. I took back-to-back weekend trips and now the battery won't hold a solid charge. After arriving back from my last trip, I parked the bike in the garage. Three days later the battery was dead. I charged the battery using a battery tender over night and the battery voltage falls from 12V down to 11V just by turning on the bike, and voltage continues to fall the longer the bike accessories are on. Needless to say, the starter will only click and not turn over the bike, since the voltage drops down to 6V - 8V.
In the last two months I have logged about 1,500 miles and the outside temperature has ranged from 50 - 80 degrees F.. So not exactly extreme by any means in miles or temperature here in Connecticut.
My old OEM Harley battery had threaded holes that the bolts screw into. This battery has larger holes that do not hold my original Harley battery connection bolts.
It seems that there should of been some connection hardware included which I did not receive.
There is a small slot under the battery's connection hole but a standard nut does not fit in it.
I see that Amazon does not accept returns on this item because it is considered hazardous.
So now I am stuck with it and need to search for a bolt and nut combination that fits.
Update 2/8/2014: My local Cycle store gave me the missing nuts I needed. They were still a little too big to fit into the battery connection slits so I gouged out the lead slits to make them larger and was finally able to securely attached my terminals. The battery came charged and the bike started right up with plenty of cranking power for my 2005 Harley Road King Classic.
I would like to note that the seller answered my post offering to send a replacement set of hardware so I am updating my rating to 5 stars.
Update March 9, 2015: It was good while it lasted but battery died after only 13 months of use.... Bummer :(
