- Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2021So my first shipment was perfect. No issues, no weight breaking internal components and in perfect new shape. The NES online controllers fit perfectly and charge perfectly as you can see from the picture. If you put them in and notice they are not charging (like I did), swap them around from left to right as they are not on the correct side.
Also if you charge all 3 at one time and decide to turn on all 3 of them at once to check their power readings in the Controller menu you will notice that not all 3 will charge at the same time. The base only has enough power to charge all 3 of them when they are off, not powered on (which makes sense... No one should use the controllers docked to this stand...)
Note also all 3 devices get a green light when fully charged as seen in the picture.
Overall great product and one of the only stands that holds the NES online controllers nicely and securely. When it works and you get a good undamaged one it works great!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2018I really like this product, it works just as intended and give a cool display to my joy-cons and pro controller. I have 2 pair of joy-cons and I desperately needed something to keep both pairs charged alongside my pro controller. I really like the look of the stand, and the company give you multiple designs depending on your favorite franchises which is a plus! As expected the stand charges your controllers, the joy-cons don’t make the clicking noise just like on the Switch, but it doesn’t matter, they still fit perfectly. Keep in mind, you will need to put the provided “contact thingy” on the pro controller to make it charge on the stand (see pictures). I personally find the contact kinda distracting because I touch it with my fingers when I’m waiting during a cutscene, but it’s not annoying in any way. I have read many reviews that concerned me, saying that one of the joy-cons would not charge, but I took a leap of faith and bought this stand, and in the end, I’m glad I did!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2018Have joycons that needed a solution and then I also bought the pro controller so I settled on this. I received a defective charger initially. When I pulled it out of the box I noticed a couple little broken plastic pieces floating around. Then when I picked it up I could feel/hear all of its internal parts moving around. I assumed it was broken but I did test it anyhow and of course the joycons wouldn’t charge. I got amazon two minutes later and requested a replacement. They shipped it immediately and I dropped the broken one off at UPS the next morning. I had the replacement 2 days later and it’s in mint condition. Works perfectly. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Somewhat compact as well. I went through this entire explanation to point out that the customer service was great and it was no problem to get a working device so the person who gave a poor review for the same issue clearly just likes to complain. Just saying.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2022I have the HORI joycon charging station that charges 4 joycons at once. I decided to get this because I had more joycons and my pro controller that also needed to be on a charging station. Like many reviews that I read, I had issues right out of the box. However, mine now works perfectly and didn’t involve me taking it apart and replacing it with a new one several times. So I figured I’d come on here and try to help some of you out. The pro controller needs to be lined up just right, yeah it may be a little annoying to have to go over and push the magnetic prong system down, but once it’s in place correctly it charges and the light indicator pops on. Over time, it will become second nature. I also had the problem where one side refused to charge and started blinking at me. I unplugged it, and plugged it back in. That is the first thing you need to do to trouble shoot this kind of thing. After that, same thing happened. Until I finally figured out what it was. My switch was on and the joycon it refused to charge was the one blinking. I turned off my switch, made sure my joycon disconnected, and put it back on. Just like that the red light came on and I could see that all 3 of my controllers were charging. Just my little tidbits of advice to try to save you from getting frustrated and sending it back 5 times :) After a few days of using it, I love it. It’s nice to go to play on my tv without my pro controller always being dead, and I like that it holds an extra set of joycons. This product is not without flaw, but that’s just electronics!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2019I absolutely love this dock and have a lot of things to say about it so let me give you the pros and cons.
Pros
-Great price
-Good build quality
-easy set up. Plug in the USB cable and you're done!
-Great adapter for the Pro Controller for contact charging
-LED indicators for each controller. Red means charging. Green means charged since ya know...Nintendo cant be bothered to put an indicator on their controllers.
Cons
-0. zilch, nada, i repeat...ZERO
Iv included additional pics of the adapter for the pro controller. It is slightly ugly but does not affect use whatsoever. All buttons are still accessible.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 6, 2019I ordered this after I purchased the pro controller so I could easily charge both that and my joy cons. The first dock they sent me had the issue where the weight fell off from the bottom and was rattling around inside. This must have damaged the wires as only one joycon charger worked. I sent it back and received a replacement within a week. A few weeks later, I traveled for work and took my switch/pro controller. I lost the adapter that allows the pro controller on my trip and because of this had no way to charge the pro controller with this dock. I emailed PowerA about this to see if I could purchase the adapter and they replied back saying they would replace it for free! They mailed me two of the adapters (it took about a week for them to respond but excellent customer service overall). I cannot recommend them more as a company!

kazReviewed in the United Kingdom on March 1, 20245.0 out of 5 stars I've got two of them now!
It's really sad that it's so hard to find now because it's arguably still the best charging station I've owned.
Not only does it have a similar style to the original Switch Dock and has a similar plastic and logo on front so it fits in, but it works absolutely perfect and just needs to be connected via USB to you're Switch dock so it's not using a plug socket.
I bought one of these years ago, lucky to find this in 2024 because nowhere sells it like it used too and I hope Power A makes a similar style charging station for whatever Nintendo console comes next!
