This is my second PowerA Joy-Con Charging Dock, and that alone should tell you how much I love this product! My first one worked so well that I decided to get another to ensure I always have plenty of fully charged controllers ready to go.
The dock charges Joy-Cons quickly and efficiently, so I never have to worry about picking up a controller only to find it dead. The LED indicators make it easy to see when they’re fully charged, and the overall design is sleek and compact. Plus, it doubles as a great storage solution, keeping my Joy-Cons organized instead of scattered around.

Takes the faff out of charging Joycons

Our Switch lives in its Dock under our telly most of the time, controlled with a pro controller, so the Joycons hardly ever get used. This works fine, except when somebody comes over and wants to play Mario Party. Inevitably we then had 2 charged Joycons and 2 dead ones, and the charging process is not superfast by any means.WSTakes the faff out of charging Joycons

This knatty little box sits right beside the switch and keeps all 4 joy cons topped up with charge. The device is powered with a standard USB-A type connector, which is hardwired to the device. In my case, I connected that to the USB port at the back of the Dock and left it to do its thing. The device has a little power indicator beside each controller. Red indicates the joycon is charging, green indicates a full charge. In my case they stay green the majority of the time, indicating they're all ready to go as and when needed.
The look is great. The only consideration I wish there was is for the plastic finishing pieces which snap to the top of the Joycons when being used singularly, if some kind of storage for them was included this device would be perfect.
