Edit: after using this controller a couple of times, the left joystick began drifting awfully! So much it pretty much made the controller useless. I remapped the controller to use it on my pc making it so the right joystick became my main one. Surprise! I used it for less than 2 hours when that started to drift too!I'm disappointed. I wish I had checked my warranty sooner :'(Anyway, with these changes, no matter how comfortable and nicely designed this controller seemed at the beginning, I'm not purchasing from PowerA again. I'll take Hori anytime.Original review: I really like this! When I saw this controller, I was very happy as it has my personal style: black, grey, Link. I had to have it. I've only played Breath of the Wild with it, and the experience is very different from the joycons. The good:It's sturdy. It's bigger than the joycons-- very comfortable. It's soft to the touch and quite ergonomic.Comes with both concave and domed joysticks you can change. The USB cable is long. It's way cheaper than the Pro Controller.** Works with PS3** Works with PC in case you use emulators. The bad:Doesn't support amiibo function.Doesn't support vibration.Doesn't have motion controls (played BOTW? Gyroscope Shrines are impossible with this)Naturally, you can only use it while the Switch is docked.** Doesn't work on PS4To note:Being different in size and design from the joycons, you'll have to reacustom your muscle memory to the new button arrangement and spacing. It is exactly as advertised, so in that sense I would give it 5 stars. However, the question is how much I like it, and the missing motion controlls are something I really miss while playing-- I use my bow and arrows often.I've included some pictures to show the box, design, and size comparisson to other controllers.
