This PowerBear extended life battery is well worth the money. I play a lot of graphics games and my original battery, nearly a year old, just could not keep up. I charge it when I go to bed and depending on my game play, will last all day. I am also glad it came with a new back since the battery is nearly twice as thick as the original. If you need extra battery life without buying a 20k-50kmah backup charger for twice the money, the PowerBear extended life battery is definitely a great substitute.

Adds lots of battery life. As expected it takes longer to charge. Lets my son go the whole day without charging. The back is thicker than before. My son actually prefers how the phone feels in his hand over regular battery and cover. Phone will weigh slightly more as you are getting twice the battery (Samsung Galaxy S4). Back cover is smooth plastic and slightly more rigid than original. First order arrived with broken cover (the corner had broken off.) Had to return, Re-order arrived undamaged and is working well.

Well Everybody please hold off writing your positive reviews until after a month.

Had My Power Piece of S*** for about a month and now it just empties charge like a stream.

The first 3 weeks seemed fine - I rarley use my phone unless I have to make or recieve calls or texts since I have a tablet. Battery held for a few days like that.

After about 3 weeks............battery with lil or no use goes down 80 percent even in no use.

PowerBear more like PowerBare...........that is how they should have spelled it.

My Galaxy S4 was only holding a charge for 6-8 hrs before getting down to 10%., not even a full day at work. Now my battery is at 70-80% after 16-18 hours. This is quite an improvement. The trade off for the longer battery life is this: my phone now is a little heavier but this is more than OK with me...at least my phone works. The battery is a little bigger depth wise & heavier and it comes with a deeper phone back that matches the phone color & accommodate the bigger battery. It fits like a glove. I am extremely happy with this battery combo and would highly recommend it.

It's been little over 7 months now and it's still strong and I still love it! Very similar strength as when I first got it. I can definitely go through a full day without worrying about the battery. With average use and not much of game play, I can still almost go for 2 days with this battery.

It's been about 100 days now since I used this battery and it's strong going strong. I never have to worry about running out of battery within a day and it almost gets me through 2 days even now.

Based on my 4 days of this battery, I am very satisfied with this product as of now. I just hope this continues to be the case after 6 months or even a year. Normally I would only have about 20 or 30 percent of battery left when I get back from work, but now I have about 75% left. I no longer have to worry about running out of battery for those days when I have to use the phone more than usual. I hadn't dropped my phone, so I am not sure how well the case will protect, but it looks like the foam-feeling cover would protect the back and sides and since front side of the case comes up above the phone's face, it should protect. I am use to bit of rubbery type of case. This case doesn't give as much as friction and grip that the rubbery type of case gives, but gives enough so that it's not slippery at all. The back hexagon pattern makes it look like women's case. I wish it didn't have any pattern. But then maybe this pattern is added to help with not slipping. It is much thicker with extended battery cover and case than with regular cover. But not thick enough to bother me or carrying it in my jean pocket.

It's a great battery. Lasts forever sometimes i wondered if my phone will ever run out of charge. Battery fully charged is enough to keep you going for 2 days on moderate use. The only reason I didn't rate 5 because of the battery restarting my phone few times and acting weird thinking it was my phone. later found out it was because of the battery but that was only twice in months of use. And the cover actually makes the phone look very nice only it didn't have the powerbear logo on the back of it.
