Pros:
Fan to cool down the circuits. Necessary due to having two plugs
Fuse located underneath the device. Uses a 25 amp blade fuse. Much better than barrel fuses used in the 12 volt adapter in other models. This comes in handy when you blow a fuse and your car has spare blade fuses
The dust covers are nice when its used around small children so they don't stick anything in plugs

Cons:
At first plugin I thought this device was on fire because of some strange smelling smoke coming out of the bottom of the unit. I unplugged it immediately and then plugged it back in because I think it was some burn off from the circuit board. Once that cleared up the unit is working as designed and I have to agree with the other posts about the loud fan. The fan is necessary to prevent overheating which happens a lot with these types of devices. I have to agree the fan is pretty loud due to the small size and high RPM's. If you use this in a truck or van that's pretty loud already I think you won't mind it as much as I do when its sitting in a quiet car.
I also haven't quite figured out how to charge my android device using the usb adapter. The unit also came with a usb ipod connector that sticks up which is kind of annoying when plugged in. I thought they should have built it into the device and not have this dongle sticking out.

Overall the product is as good as a converter goes for typical recharging and laptop use in your car/van/suv/truck. I haven't used it more than an hour at a time so I can't comment on when it might actually overheat or if will reach that point. If you experience any of the smoke at first just keep it plugged in even though the smoke is quite foul almost smells like ammonia.

Great product, while traveling for pleasure or business this little power supply can run two lap tops, an I-pad and charge your phone at the same time all on only 12 Volts from the cigarette lighter. who knew you would ever need to run so many things at once to keep up while out of the office or traveling with the family.

We have two of these that are on the road just about every weekend. Great product and great service from the vendor.

It does not sit in our cup holder well, it tips over constantly (-star) and the internal fan runs while on so you can hear it. If you can live with these irritations (which I can't, I gave to my husband and he LOVES it!) it's the perfect product, I especially liked he way the 2 - 3 prong plug ins face away from each other.

Need to run your cyclotron while tooling down the highway? No need to panic, Bunky; I have the answer to your quandary right here. It sits in your drink holder securely, plugs into your cigarette lighter (you don't smoke, do you?), and provides enough 110 volts of AC to charge up the old flux capacitor, providing it doesn't need more than 200 watts. Has a built-in ventilation fan to disperse heat, preventing ugly violations of the laws of thermodynamics. What Ho, Buck Rogers! No, I'm not speaking ill of your significant other, Buck! Please don't point that ray gun at me!

Wow, what can I say to convince you that you need this power charger inverter w/a cup designed holder for your vehicle?!?
We can plug it in to 1 of the DC plugs in the back of the minivan, put it in a cup holder in the back, then run 2 AC or 1DC or a1USB cords to the second row & front to the driver!
We can charge 2 phones & play a game at the same time AS WE'RE DRIVING! It has its own fan to prevent it over-heating!
ALWAYS turn off the fan & disconnect the DC plug when you turn off your vehicle!!
You'll be powered up where ever you go, when ever you want-good company & great $$, 4 & 1/2 stars as it needs a carrying bag!

This little device is better than I expected. It stays in my car and I get a lot of good use out of it.
What other reviewers have said about it is TRUE: that the fan is loud and the item is very tall for a cupholder. But it worked out that none of the issues with it are a problem for me. Here's why: my car has rear seat cupholders behind the kiosk between the driver's and passenger's seat. I can easily reach my arm around to access them. They are deep and expandable, so the adapter sits well in them, and since the thing is down in the back seating area, I don't really hear the fan. In fact, the fan is somewhat helpful since the adpater will draw power from the car battery when the engine is off... but since I can hear the fan running, I don't forget to switch it off.
