Don't get me wrong, don't get rid of the bucket... Re-purpose it... Hand it to your daughter/son/team and give them the gift of exercise! Graciously allow them to pick up and place all the hit and missed balls into the bucket and return it to you (side note: only criticism of the product is it has no locking mechanism, so it's not easy for a kiddo to carry around the field; therefore bucket still required). Dump the bucket in to your reasonably high of the ground Ball Caddy, and place the bucket on the ground. That dear Sir/Madam is the only time you have to bend over while running hitting drills.
$40 for a Ball Caddy VS pain + $40 worth of ibuprofen to make it through a season
UPDATE: after 4 months use, the stitching on one of the legs came undone, and the net is no longer being held together. I contacted mfr, and they only stand behind their product for 30 days. it clear that the stitching coming undone is considered defective manufacturing, and appears that quality control is not that high. I will not be purchasing again, nor will I recommend this product.
Appears to be well made; super easy to set up. Cost is more reasonable than other ball caddies. I would definitely recommend.
