Today's anglers are more educated than ever. The fact that many bodies of water are getting clearer is exactly why PowerPro has created Microline. The thin diameter of this line is going to give lures more action in the water and the kind of presentation that anglers dream about. The three end braided construction and near-zero stretch make this the most sensitive line PowerPro has ever offered. Whether you fish for Walleye, Trout, Panfish, or Bass, this Microline will change the way you think about fishing forever.
- Spool directly from the box

Even when using the lighter versions of this line when I'm fishing the docks, this line holds up to the abuse. Snook love to run around dock pilings that are covered in barnacles, and I don't even sweat about it anymore when I've hooked up with one on this line. Obviously, you don't want a fish grinding your line on barnacles, but if it happens, this line gives you some breathing room. I've pulled 32+ inch Snook out of barnacle infested docks with the 15lb version of this line and some good .
From my experience, if your not using this line when fishing, I can honestly say that you are putting yourself at a severe disadvantage. I've been using it for years in the harshest environments that Florida can offer, against the biggest and baddest fish, and I cant think of one time that this line disappointed me.
Have had no problem with slippage / unraveling.
Great product and highly recommend it for fresh and salt water. Be ready for some very long casts, and if using mono backing, make SURE you have plenty of Power Pro on to bury the union knot deep on the reel. With a heavy spoon, 100 yrds of line will fly off in no time with little effort.
If you fish piers, I suggest getting high visibility line. I made the mistake of not, and because of that it's hard to see my line when fishing the piers. Causing me to get tangled with others.
