This thing is junk, filled it full of fresh 3-in-One oil when I received it in October. First really cold night in my shed killed it. Had to turn it upside down to get it to prime at all, then ceased to function altogether. Warmer surroundings didn't bring it back either. I finally purchased Dutton Lainson 606, also known as Goldenrod 606, from Tractor Supply, also here on Amazon. Dutton Lainson 606 Pistol Pump Oiler It's made in the USA, and it works. Amazon picture is misleading, the 606 has a flexible metal spout, not rigid. Every time, it works. Spend the extra two dollars, if you want it to work for a while.

I filled it up with motor oil and it works perfectly. I couldn't believe how cheap it is considering how well it is constructed. I like the wide base which makes it less apt to be knocked over. If you need an oil can, then don't hesitate to buy this one. I'm impressed.

First thing first: contains lead. I didn't see that in the description until after I purchased the item. For me, that's no big deal. However, anyone who has a problem with lead products, make sure you read the full description and take note before purchase.

Otherwise, the item is great and works great.

leaks, squirt oil out of tip and it comes out from the base as well. Oil all over my hands! I'll be searching for a better oil can.

This oil can does not work properly. I have the larger quart size made by the same company and it works great. This one is a dud.

My girlfriend uses old printing presses and some of the oil ports are tough to get to. The flex hose on the is can makes getting into the tight spots very easy. HIghly recommended.

Oddly, most local merchants including the 'big box' home improvement stores don't even sell an oil can any more. I use it on my sharpening stone for sharpening kitchen knives.

Perfect tool for adding hydraulic fluid to fittings that won't allow a funnel. I use it for adding fluid to my trim tilt motor on my outboards
