Powered Adjustment Mirrors
Towing mirrors are equipped for manual or remote vertical and horizontal adjustment so as to provide appropriate coverage to drivers of differing height and seated position.
The mirror glass may also be electrically heated and may include electrochromic dimming to reduce glare to the driver from the headlamps of the following vehicles.
LED Turn Signal Light
LED turn signal light is more easily noticeable for vehicles or pedestrians on the side. It can also better remind vehicles in the side and behind in the blind zone to help avoid accidents caused by paralleling.
Extensible reversing benchmark to help the driver maneuver in small spaces with poor visibility.

A few improvements should be made to this product:
1. Quality control at the factory should check that all screws have the proper threads.
2. Instructions for installation should be included.
3. There is a plastic tab on the inside of the mirror bracket that needs to be removed before a flush installation can be achieved, I broke them off with a pliers and then filed them flush. This tab should be removed at the factory.
I will update this review as time goes on if any new issues occur with this product.
This truck came with heated, power adjusting upper mirror glass from the factory. Whether due to this or the year itself, I did not have to use the included wiring pigtail. I did however, need to remove the plastic L shaped tab that others have said Is for alignment purposes on newer trucks. I didn't see it was there at first, because the spongy layer that squishes against your door to weather seal the mirror was partly covering it up. As a result, I installed one mirror without removing the extra plastic. This prevented the top from being drawn tight against the door. So look closely and don't cause yourself extra work like I caused myself! I easily removed this L shaped plastic "alignment pin" using the flat nose pliers portion of my side cutting pliers. A little bending back and forth, then a twist, and each leg of the L is gone.
The functionality as compared to the smaller rounded OEM style mirror this year Super Duty came with is a night and day difference! The rear and side views are so much better, it's stunning! It will give me a confidence when changing lanes, that I've never had with this truck.
FYI- The glass is flat and distortion free. I would buy them again if needed, no hesitation.
The only bad thing so far are the mounting studs. they are weak, and will snap off if you over tighten them. It doesn't take much. just go a little beyond snug and stop. You have been warned.
The good. These bad boys are huge!! Overall, not a lot bigger than the oval shaped factory tow mirrors of the early 2000s, but being square they sure seem a lot bigger. The best part of these bad boys is the lower blind spot mirrors. They are Way bigger than the stock ones. Seriously they are amazing. You know how you get those idiots on the highway that refuse to use cruise control? You know the ones. The ones that fly up on you doing 90MPH, then slow down and just sit there in your blind spot for miles and miles, until you forget that they're there, and then you're the bad guy for changing lanes. Well, with these suckers, that will happen no more!! I have them set up that even a dummy in a smart car can't find a blind spot to fit into. This is huge to me. I still change lanes whenever I want to and make them slow down though. Just because they deserve it. But now, I can see the look on their face!!! AWESOME!!!
