This isn't quite up to snuff for a DIY camera. It's just too cheap/flimsy to actually last very long - provided everything fits together properly in the first place. The two halves of the case on mine wouldn't stay together (trying some super glue to see if it can be held together and salvaged). Honestly, given my experience with this one, I really can't recommend it much less any of the others priced at $50 or more. If you want to make a camera, try a homemade pinhole one (plenty of info on how to do that online I'm sure) and save your money.

It was a fun project. It didn't really fit together pefectly. My 12 year old completed it all on his own. Haven't developed the film yet.
