Top Customer Reviews
The safety issue is why only four stars. The unit needs a safety-start switch at the back of the brush housing. Not a dead-man, but a button that must be pressed to start the saw, only. The problem is that the natural way one picks up the unit puts one's fingers about the trigger, and since it is a nice easy trigger, one tends to inadvertently start the saw - not full speed, but dangerous enough if a youngster picked it up by the blade and the body. A safety-start switch would reduce accidental starting of the saw. The irony is this is a consequence of the nice ergonomics of the unit.
