About the Author
Alex is a profoundly curious person with a passion for communication, entrepreneurship, governance, and human behavior. That curiosity has led him to tickle a wild polar bear’s nose, found him stranded on a grounded ferry in the no-man’s-land between Belize and Mexico, and taken him to more than 50 countries. With degrees in human Cognition and Communication, Alex has long dabbled in entrepreneurialism with a specialization in innovative approaches to digital communities. He has found career success in the commercial real estate, mergers and acquisitions, bio technology, and advertising technology industries. In addition he is a globally recognized blogger, podcaster, photographer, and videographer. Alex also enjoys delivering public talks and guest lectures. Alex has been traveling since before he could walk. His wanderlust was cemented at the age of 11 when the family rented their house, packed a year’s worth of possessions into four backpacks, and caught a plane to Europe. Two years later the family struck out once again for a year of travel across the United States in a 32 foot fifth-wheel trailer. Since re-locating in 2011, Alex has lived and worked in Copenhagen, Denmark.
