Raised in the US (Macon GA), she was once one of us - from a tourists perspective. Now after spending the better part of the last 20 years in Prague she is able to offer a type of information and advice that is most helpful. We highly recommend this book for the first time visitor.... You have spent all that money to get to Prague, why not spend $9 more dollars to help ensure a great visit!
Before leaving for Prague, we contacted the author, Krysti Brice. She has a tour service in Prague, as well as a concierge service. My wife and I like to explore on our own, so we did not use her tour service. But we did use her concierge service extensively. I cannot say enough about how useful this service is. Krysti knows her stuff, and was able to orchestrate our odd requests with true professionalism. She leaves no stone unturned, and has a very down-to-earth friendliness. It was a pleasure to use her book, and to work with her in real time. If you are going to Prague and need sound advice, support, or coordination for anything at all, look no further.
She also has some excellent self-guided tours. I downloaded her walking tour of the Jewish Quarter onto my phone and was easily able to navigate while learning valuable information about each site. Highly recommended!
