Chock-full of color photos and details, this book is expertly written too boot! No shortcomings.
Use it as a field guide or leave it on the coffee table; this is a well spent $25!
Our Public Library had this book in collections and I borrowed it to find a specific plant that had suddenly begun growing in our back garden. I ended up spending most of that afternoon with book and notebook finding out what else!! had been growing.
I would suggest that, since this is a paperback, that you try and stiffen the spine with a sticky plastic or just clear packing tape.
