Cardona says he is not an ordained minister, but he has a degree in Religious Studies and his writing is clear and informed. The information is useful for anyone who wants a better understanding of the power of prayer. He gives personal examples, scriptural references, and very apt examples to illustrate his points.
I have read the Bible several times and been through countless Bible studies. Nevertheless his explanation of troublesome passages in the Bible blew me away. Paul's thorn in his side, Jesus's anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane... just a couple of examples where his insight into what was really happening was a revelation I'd never heard before. He backs his thoughts up with scripture, solid references. Why didn't I see this before?
I heartily recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand faith more clearly.
