Enhance your purchase
Leoma Gilley lived and worked in the Sudan for about 20 years. During that time, she lived among, worked with, and developed deep friendships with many Muslims. As a Christian, she would like to see her friends and colleagues come to faith in Jesus Christ. This book of prayers, taken from Scripture, is offered as a way for others to join in to pray for the Muslim world during the special month of fasting called Ramadan.

Ms. Gilley made many Muslim friends during the twenty years she lived and worked in the Sudan; so it is with respect and understanding that she wrote this book for Christians to pray that those of the Muslim faith be open to learning about the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Each page in this small book contains a prayer with a Biblical reference for each day of the month of Ramadan, a time of repentance and fasting. I was struck by the loving, non-judgmental tone of the prayers that would be of great help in supporting our Muslim friends.

This short and deeply meaningful book is filled with the author's appreciation of the struggles some Muslims have with their religion. She cares for them and through the short Christian prayers she has written, she asks for God's love and understanding in their search for a truth they can embrace. I recommend this book because it's written not to judge, infringe, or critique a non-Christian religion, but to ask God to surround the world with His love.
