“. . . a prayer we can all join in to heal ourselves and our environment.”

The Quero Apache Snake Clan, the Tlish Diyan, center their spiritual practice on the daily ceremony of doohwaa-gon’ch’aada, “entering the silence.” A combination of meditation, breathwork, and prayer, doohwaa-gon’ch’aada offers an experiential connection to All That Is from the Earth-based spiritual traditions of indigenous America. When performed properly, this ritual becomes a path to self-realization and energetic attunement.
Prayers and Meditations of the Quero Apache explains how to establish a personal practice of doohwaa-gon’ch’aada. In addition to twenty-four prayer wheels and easy-to-follow instructions for the ritual, the book includes a rare overview of the spiritual philosophies of the Quero Apache. The author also incorporates her own stories and essays into the text in order to share the wisdom she has gained as daughter of the Tlish Diyan, granddaughter and apprentice of Apache holy man Ten Bears, and descendant of the prophet Nochaydelklinne.
MARIA YRACEBURU is Tlish Diyan ‘tsantì--a storyteller, healer, ceremonial facilitator, teacher, and guardian of ancient Snake Clan knowledge that has been passed down through countless generations. She is the author of Legends and Prophecies of the Quero Apache and lives in Redwood Valley, California.

Using the daily prayers in this book has literally changed my life. I wake up in a positive place of connectedness, and I feel my ancestors and guides supporting me all day long now!
I'm not surprised that Alberto, Brooke Medicine Eagle, and many others are recognizing Maria Yraceburu as an authentic teacher of the ancient wisdom way. I've heard that some traditionalists are upset at her for revealing these teachings to the general "white" public. We are All One, and we modern people are so hungry for this poetic spiritual wisdom. In order to heal the planet, we need to hear it and live it.
Listen to your Heart. Buy this book.
While many people live in a world where they think things are "right" or things are "wrong", Maria helps you understand that we are all connected and that our truth, whatever it is, is what we should seek and hold in our hearts. Thank you, Maria!
This book is an inspiration. A gift of an authentic teacher who's insights and wisdom are impeccable. I am gratful to have this book to connect with the old ways and it has helped me honor those who came before and connect with the Earth in a most profound way. I recommend it to any one who seeks a deeper reality of life.
