Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron
The Klee Cast Iron Aebleskiver Pan is pre-seasoned and ready to use! Simply rinse with warm water and pat dry with a paper towel or lint-free cloth before first use.

Nonstick Surface
Seasoned cast iron has a non-stick surface. Using a lower heat setting will also prevent food from sticking. All utensils are safe to use with cast iron; even metal utensils won’t damage the surface!

Silicone Handle Covers
One of the benefits of cast iron is that it distributes heat evenly, but as a result the handle of the pan is very hot while cooking! Silicone handle covers are heat-resistant and fit perfectly on the pan handle, allowing you to safely move the pan while cooking.

Versatile Cooking
Cast iron can be used on all cooking surfaces, including induction, electric, gas and glasstop stoves. Cast iron should be heated and cooled gradually, so allow the pan to pre-heat for a few minutes before adding the pancake batter. Cast iron is excellent at retaining heat evenly, so you can use a lower heat setting with the same results!

Easy Use & Care
Cast iron is not dishwasher safe! Wash cast iron by hand with warm water, using a nylon bristle brush and mild detergent to scrub the surface. Use a pan scraper for stubborn food scraps, or simmer water for a few minutes to loosen hardened food. Avoid placing hot cast iron into cold water. Dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. Spray or rub a light layer of vegetable oil on the surface while the pot is still warm to maintain the seasoned surface.
