Pre-Seed Fertility-Friendly Lubricant is different
Specially Formulated for Couples Trying to Conceive
Pre-Seed Fertility-Friendly Personal Lubricant was invented by a female sperm physiologist after she discovered that many couples were using lubricants that killed sperm. This lubricant was designed to mimic fertile cervical mucus in its pH, ion concentration, and consistency. Pre-Seed is glycerin-free to allow sperm to swim freely, and it is formulated with antioxidants to help support sperm on their journey to fertilize the egg.
Fertility-Friendly and Feels Natural
Pre-Seed Fertility-Friendly Personal Lubricant acts like your body's own fertile fluids for a very natural feeling during sex. It has been reported to be as slippery and smooth as, if not better than, leading lubricant products.
How Other Lubricants Can Damage Sperm
Published medical studies report that leading "non-spermicidal" lubricants can damage the ability of sperm to swim on contact in laboratory testing. Even water-based lubes can harm sperm, whether or not they contain spermicide. Many leading lubricant products damage sperm because they have a different pH from semen and are not isotonic (they have high salt or ion levels that dehydrate sperm and stop them from swimming). Some also contain sperm-toxic ingredients such as glycerol (glycerin). Even saliva and water can kill sperm and should be avoided when you are trying to conceive.
Can I use Pre-Seed lubricant even if I am sensitive to other lubricants?
In general, many women are able to use Pre-Seed lubricant even when other lubricants have caused irritation. This is because other lubricants often have a much higher salt (ion) concentration than your bodily fluids. If irritation occurs, stop using the product. If the irritation persists, please contact your doctor.
When can Pre-Seed lubricant be used if I am trying to get pregnant?
Pre-Seed lubricant can be used any time you have intercourse and want to supplement lubricant and moisture. Applying it internally helps the lubricant act like your body's own fluids, making for a very natural feeling during intercourse.
Why does Pre-Seed lubricant contain parabens?
Preservatives such as methylparaben and propylparaben (both found in Pre-Seed lubricant) keep products from growing bacteria. Other preservatives (like Vitamin C, EDTA, and others) can cause sperm damage. The makers of Pre-Seed lubricant chose to use methylparaben and propylparaben because they have very long histories of use and safety data and are fertility-friendly.
Scientists and expert preservative consultants have reviewed all of the available preservatives approved for human use. In developing Pre-Seed lubricant, the goal was to choose a preservative that was safe for sperm. Studies were conducted to determine the lowest amount of methylparaben and propylparaben preservatives that could be used to protect against bacterial growth while preserving optimal sperm function and not impairing egg fertilization or embryo development.
Why Apply Pre-Seed Internally?
- Applicators provide moisture inside where it can coat the vaginal walls, enhancing the comfort of intimacy and supplementing natural fertile fluids
- Pre-Seed is most effective as a lubricant when its isotonic formula is deposited near the cervix, but it can also be applied externally.
- Applicators are included for Pre-Seed lubricant to be most effective
Pre-Seed does not harm sperm. It is not a contraceptive. Keep out of reach of children. If irritaion occurs, discontinue use immediately, and if it persists, consult a physician. The applicators are single-use only. If additional lubrication is desired, use a new applicator or apply by hand. DO NOT REUSE APPLICATOR. Do not leave cap off product! To retain properties, cap must be tightly replaced after each use. Store at 36 to 86 F.
Pre-Seed lubricant supplements the body's own natural fluids to relieve friction and enhance comfort of intimate sexual activity. It is safe for use by couples who are trying to conceive. Pre-Seed lubricant may be applied to vaginal or penile tissues to provide lubrication and moisture. Compatible with latex and polyurethane condoms
Purified water, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Pluronic, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Phosphate, Carbomer, Methylparaben, Sodium Hydroxide, Arabinogalactan, Potassium Phosphate, Propylparaben
Pre-Seed lubricant best mimics natural secretions when applied inside the vagina, prior to intercourse. Do not store product in applicator for more than 30 minutes prior to use. See enclosed insert for complete directions. Pre-seed lubricant can also be applied by hand directly to the genital area. For external application or use with condoms apply Pre-Seed by hand directly to the genital area.

It's not a miracle product. It is a sperm-friendly lubricant (and others are not)and it's easy to use, but please don't purchase this product based on all of the women who say that they used it and within the first month they were pregnant. It does work, I have two friends who have conceived using it, but it isn't a sure thing that you'll use it and get pregnant.
My wife and I had been trying for over a year using only Clearblue Fertility Starter Kit (Packaging May Vary) with no luck. We both eat ultra healthy and stay in great shape (running, swimming, weights, yoga, pilates). We finally decided to go to a fertility clinic and were thinking about using IVF. I even had "my boys" examined and was told by the doctor that a large percentage of my sperm was abnormal. You can imagine the disappointment. I found Pre-Seed on Amazon, saw the reviews, and told my wife it's worth a shot before shelling out the cash for in vitro. We're not sure if it was the first or second time we used it, but my wife and I finally conceived and my wife proceeded to give birth to our first, a baby boy, in January 2010. We were thinking it might have just been a coincidence or luck, but when we tried to conceive again with Pre-Seed for our second child it worked again. This time we know it was definitely the first time we used it. And now we're expecting our second child next February.
Final thought - it may not work for everyone, but for $20 it is definitely worth purchasing and trying considering the alternatives.
I knew before even getting it, that I should NOT follow the dosage guidelines for the product, as several people advised that "a little" goes a long way. So, I used about 1/2 way to the first marker on the applicator the first time, and found that to be almost too much.
It made it a lot easier for on demand intimacy to be performed much more comfortably, and as anyone who's TTC'ing knows... On Demand baby dancing can not only be rushed, and not romantic, but if in a super rush, it can sometimes be uncomfortable for both parties involved.
Happy to say... this made it more comfortable, and I was able to relax more knowing that this is a conception friendly lubricant.
UPDATE 10/22/12: After only using this product only twice while I was able to confirm ovulation with a digital OPK I am happy to say that we got pregnant on the first official try and have a beautiful baby girl who will be 3 months on the 25th!
We heard about PreSeed and decided to give it a try. First time using it- We are pregnant!!!!
I am now 6 weeks along and still in shock! Great product.
