The Revelator Dynamic’s built-in software mixer also lets you quickly add backing tracks to your livestream performance or conference in a Zoom caller to your podcast. Setup is easy, the Universal Control application gives you a lot of flexibility over how the microphone behaves. However, a lot of noise comes out of the pre-amp. You will need to do some post-processing cleanup to remove the noise. As such, you don't want to use the noise gate, so that you can get a profile of the noise the mic is letting through. (Note, applications like Zoom, Zencaster, MS Teams, and Discord will handle some of the noise reduction for you, so not an issue there). I like the size of the microphone stand. You can travel with it, though the box it comes in is a bit larger than you really want to throw in a suitcase. Compared to the PD-70, the response is not as flat and seems to have a bit more bass boost. The EQ lets you adjust this as desired though.
