Overall: 75%! Packaging is really nice and it includes 4 mini posters, one from each movies. They're each as big as a standard blu-ray case (which is why I said "mini", not as big as a poster but I honestly don't know what to call them). Each one has picture on the front and a quote said in each movie on the back.
Predator 1: Classic! Can't beat it. Best one IMO.
Predator 2: Another Classic. Great film.
Predator 3: I actually loved it. I think the group of actors chosen was good and the plot was good. I love the commentary from the directors going through the making of the film and all of the different locations. They really did put a lot of work into it which I greatly appreciate in films.
Predator 4: Yikes. Not good at all. The first time I watched it, it was meh but as I continued to rewatch it, it really isn't good. While the plot was interesting, I'm not sure it was executed in a way that worked well. The acting is okay but the graphics and CGI are good.

Auch heute wirken die Filme keineswegs veraltet. Teil 3 fiel etwas aus der Reihe, da dort der Humor zu kurz kam. Dennoch, wirklich schwach, ist auch er nicht.
Der neueste Film gefällt mir hingegen sehr gut. Er erreicht zwar nicht ganz die Klasse von Teil 1 und Teil 2, aber Regisseur Shane Black (der zugleich Darsteller in Teil 1 war) gelingt es, wieder die richtige Mischung aus Humor und Action zu erzeugen. Nur die Story wirkt nicht so konsequent, wie die der ersten beiden Filme.
Negative Kritiken, die über diesen Film ständig verlautet werden, sollte man durch eine eigene Betrachtung des Films prüfen. Als Teil 2 damals erschien, wurde er auch von den Kritikern zerrissen und gilt heute als Kultfilm.
Richtig gut ist auch die Ultra-HD-Umsetzung der Filme geworden.
Wirklich erstaunlich, was selbst aus dem 32-Jahre-alten ersten Teil herauszuholen war. Klar- an heutige Produktionen kommt die Qualität nicht mal im Ansatz heran, aber die Bildschärfe ist beeindruckend. Hintergrundrauschen ist mitunter deutlich erkennbar, aber das war auch schon bei der alten DVD so.
Man kann aber definitiv sagen, dass Predator 1 und 2 noch nie so gut aussahen. Wobei Teil 2 im Vergleich zu Teil 1 kaum noch Rauschen zeigt.
Teil 3 und Teil 4 liefern ebenfalls eine richtig gute Bildqualität ab. Bei Teil 4 gibt es absolut nichts zu meckern: Tolle Farben, sehr guter Kontrast, hohe Schärfe und mitunter ein sehr strahlender HDR-Effekt.
Positiv überrascht hier zudem gerade der 3. Teil aus dem Jahr 2010, der ein exzellentes HDR-Bild mit grandiosem Detailreichtum und Super-Bildschärfe liefert. Der HDR-Effekt bei diesem Film kommt, meiner Wahrnehmung nach, noch deutlicher rüber, als beim neuesten Film, da Teil 3 viele Szenen zeigt, die im Dschungel spielen und hier das HDR sehr gut zur Geltung kommt.
Der Ton ist bei wirklich allen Teilen der Reihe sehr gelungen - besonders im englischen Original. Neben einer atmosphärisch-dichten Surroundkulisse, ist vor allem der Basseinsatz sehr prägnant.
Für Fans ist diese Sammelbox daher absolut empfehlenswert.
