I was skeptical to purchase this coupler as my mixer grinder is from the Prestige brand. I was not getting coupler for that brand anywhere, so decided to go for this Preeti one hoping for the compatibility.
My wife wanted a new mixer badly as Indian's literally can't survive without any powerful grinder like this. I was about to purchase a new one, in fact, added to my cart too but then did some research and decided to try a coupler first. It saved me $100 :)
My 2 cents below :
Pros:
- Looks good quality. Hopefully, it will last a couple of years since the last one which came along with the mixer lasted 3 years almost
- Compatibility to other brand is not mentioned but it worked for my Prestige model too
Cons:
- It is definitely costly for just a piece of plastic. Secondly, I don't understand why all brands use plastic couplers. Why don't they keep a less frictional metallic design
- The product comes in very generic packaging and nowhere Preeti brand is mentioned, so I believe this is not coming from brand directly
