This book picks up after the Dulles Bros. (Alan and John Foster) of post WWII begat their version of a Shadow Government that the bankers and their politicos first birthed in the early 1900s. The C.I.A. is reeling from the exposures of the Watergate Commission, and those operatives with unfinished business and a penchant for power must find new sources of funding their clandestine activities. It's the basis for many an exciting spy novel or movie production, but it's not imaginary. Real people, perhaps in the millions, are killed, maimed and otherwise harmed by their deceit and the cover-ups by the corporate media, banks and politicians who rely on them to do their devilish deeds. Expose and Draining the Swamp, which deepens with every day.

This read is not for the average person and if you are familiar with that murky hinterland that comprises intelligence and politics, you will probably get enjoyment and information from this book. There are times when I have problems grappling with what is presented as fact but Mr. Trento writes with authority and this book deserves to be considered on its merits.
