In the days of the Coronavirus Epidemic, my daughter leaned against my bedroom door in our apartment and accidentally punched the doorknob through the wall, which was disturbing easily because that spot had clearly been patched. I purchased this item. First, it was so small that I thought I had received the wrong item. Second, it smelled so badly that I just threw it right into the trash by the front door - which was easy because in the days of Coronavirus, we unpack everything by the front door, anyway. The odor was specifically that glue-like carcinogenic shower curtain smell, only stronger than I've ever smelled on anything in my life. I was not about to put that in my bedroom.

This works really well. It is soft and fits just about any regular size doorknob. Just keep in mind that when you install you have to clean whatever surface you’re installing to. That way it stays adhered to that surface. If you have to remove it later on for any reason it isn’t hard to take off. Would recommend since it’s fairly priced and works as advertised.

I love that these are very large. They would work for the handle type doorknobs easily. They blend in with the white walls well enough to look nice and don't protrude much therefore they don't get in the way.
