This is a good quality item so don't be afraid to pay the half price of what it sells for at the wireless store. They also have much clearer directions. Here's my advice for applying it: 1. Tape is the secret to dust-free application. I used a wide, clear packing tape. I feared it might stick too fiercely to the tablet or leave a sticky residue, but it comes off as smooth as a baby's bottom with no fighting or hassle. And I also used it to remove dust particles I discovered on the protector itself once I'd applied it to the screen and spotted them. Gently peel up the protector, touch the tape to the adhesive side, and the dust is gone. Here again, don't fear over-sticking--it peels off with perfect ease and, with patient and careful use as needed, gives you an absolutely flawless application. 2. Be sure to peel off "tab 1" first, and THEN "tab 2" from the protector. They're clearly labeled; just pay attention to them so you don't stick the slick side down and the adhesive side up. :( 3. These protectors (2 per pack) fit all the way to the edges of the screen, so be careful and precise about lining up your leading edge to the screen. Otherwise you might end up with a tiny overlap at the other end, and that means a strip of air that I find visually annoying.

I ruined both of the more expensive protectors I purchased with the tablet, so I was glad to see I could buy them much cheaper here and that my technique worked perfectly the first time with these protectors. What was diffferent? The tape! Don't be afraid to gently lift up the edges to get at any dust or pet hair you notice when you apply--just touch your tape to the dust and carry on, and eventually you'll have a gorgeous fit. You won't need to buy a second set, as I did. Good luck!

most would agree that applying a screen protector to a phone or touch device ranks among the most stress inducing actions a person can perform (right between war and asking out that hot girl/guy). so to help you out i have created this step by step guide.

1)carefully prepare your materials. the middle of the procedure is not the time to be fumbling for the microfiber cloth.

2)clean your screen thoroughly. use a very weak soap and water solution to dampen a cloth and gently wipe the screen clean of fingerprints and other debris.

3) contact your buddy who works at NASA/microchip production company/bio lab. tell them you need to borrow his clean room BECAUSE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EFFING WAY TO PUT THIS ON WITHOUT A LEAST ONE SPECK OF DUST LANDING RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN OR ON THE STICKY SIDE OF THE COVER RIGHT BEFORE YOU EFFING PUT IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!

4)make sure you align the edges up so it doesn't go on crooked

5)use the little plastic card to smooth out any bubbles.

6)enjoy!

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and wanted to protect my purchase with a screen protector. I have ordered them off Amazon before so this was the first place I looked. The protectors are much cheaper cost here than at the big box stores.

The package I received contained everything you need, 2 microfiber clothes, a squeegee, and the 2 protectors. 1 of the protectors I got had a blemish on it (looked like a little drop of melted plastic.) I e-mailed the company and received a VERY quick response that they would ship me a new set of screen protectors. It is nice to know you are dealing with a company that will look out for you.

Application was quick and easy. Make sure that the screen is PERFECTLY cleaned with not even 1 drop of dust on it. I used a little eyeglass cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. I barely notice that the protector is there. The tablet works just the same, but now my screen is protected. I will definitely purchase a screen protector from this company again in the future.

As a paranoid techie, I have screen protectors on just about everything, from my iPod nano to my desktop monitor, so I've learned a few things about these apparently simple pieces of plastic. Probably the most important is that they're not all created equal. Sure, I could have picked something up for a few dollars less, but frankly, it's worth it to shell out for a superior product. In this case, I was especially glad that the price included two protectors. There will always be accidents, and there was a problem with my first application, but the second worked just great.

The other most important thing I learned? There is a definite right and wrong way to go about putting on these protectors. There are literally scores of tutorials out there for devices of every size, so I won't go into all the details. What I will say is this: Work in a steamy room to minimize dust, and if you happen to have some lens cleaner (like for glasses or camera lenses) lying around, make sure to spray a light mist of that on your screen before putting down the protector. It seems counterintuitive to work in a wet environment like that, I know, but nothing of mine has ever been damaged by the brief exposure, and the screen protectors look much better. (The humidity, like I said, reduces airborne dust particles. The lens cleaner creates a film of liquid that makes the protector easier to reposition and lets you squeeze out the inevitable bubbles with ease.)

I don't know how long this protector will last, since they all do have a life span. But when it wears out, I'll be ordering myself another set. I can't even tell it's on there! Thanks, amCase.
