Turmeric Powder

Turmeric powder is a superfood native to India, bearing the scientific name Curcuma longa. Turmeric is the spice that gives curry its yellow color. It has been used in India for thousands of years as a spice and medicinal herb. Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric.

Turmeric powder contains good amounts of protein, vitamin C, calcium, iron, dietary fiber, sodium, and about 24 calories in a 1 tablespoon serving of turmeric powder. It also provides a rich supply of vitamin B6, potassium, magnesium, and manganese. (FDA Disclaimer: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Turmeric Potato Wedges What you need: 1kg agria potatoes 2 tablespoons Organics Olive Oil 1 teaspoon Organics Ground Turmeric Sea salt and pepper to taste Directions: Preheat oven to 230°C and Cut your potatoes into thin wedges. Place potatoes in a bowl. Add the oil, spices and herbs and toss to combine. Arrange on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until browned, flipping potatoes halfway through for even baking. Once their done, toss with additional sea salt and pepper.	Pineapple Turmeric Smoothie What you need: 1 banana 2 cups frozen pineapple 1/4 cup coconut milk 1 Tbsp ground turmeric 1 Tbsp chia seeds Directions:. Blend everything together. Top it with chia seeds and serve chilled.	Golden Milk What you need: 1 cup Milk 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger Honey or maple syrup, to taste Directions: In a small saucepan, bring milk to boil. Add turmeric and ginger, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain the prepared Golden Milk into a cup, add sweetener as desired and sprinkle some ground cinnamon for additional taste.

this is first time I ordered this product .I used it once in the morning and at night. My back pain came back, and then I switch to other brand I bought before. My low back pain disappeared. I am a very sensitive person to turmeric powder. After this turmeric powder has been soaked in the water for 8 hours, the water is still cloudy with yellow. who can tell me that this turmeric has color added? compared with other brand of turmeric powder, this color is particularly bright yellow.

Stay away from it. This is just simply a white flour with yellow color. Trace of Turmeric has been added. I have purchased other brands and this one, I gave it a try this time, not good at all. Mainly, you can find traces of white flour separating out when you mix it in hot water or when you temper it in oil (adding herbs and ingredients in a say - hot sesame seed oil). This is a bad product and not original. A real turmeric powder would not do that.

Stained my cups, my bpa free plastic bowels I put the turmeric in along with my quinoa, and it made me teeth yellow not to mention it had plastic in it and I am spending today sitting on the toilet in pain along with blood. Products like this should be illegal to sell, thanks humans for selling this to us human public lol 😂 these kind of products is a nice way to shorten your life span if anyone wants that then this is the product for you.

This is just simply a white flour with yellow color. The color maybe Mentanil Yellow which is a non-permitted food color or something like that. This product float when you put in water and does not dissolve. I put it on my hand and there is no yellow color, conventional Turmeric would stain my hand. The yellow color in this product would cause degenerative diseases. Consumption of color would cause health issues. I do not believe the claims that this is an organic product, nor that it was tested for purity according to food guidelines. I have purchased other brands and it is different. I grow up on Turmeric and have 50 years experience with cooking with Turmeric. Why they do not accept returns? Do not buy or consume this product.

This product is horrible!! Please don't buy it. There is something other than tumeric in it. I'm not an expert on tumeric but I've been consuming it for a while and it always dissolves well when I mix it with warm water. Not this brand. There is always about a full teaspoon at the bottom of my glass that won't dissolve. What's at the bottom don't look like tumeric. And then the fact you can't return it. ? Seems odd. Someone needs to look I to this.
