From what I have read/learned.
Test 1: Dissolve/mix 1/2 tsp turmeric in 20ml of luke-warm H2O. Add a few drops of hydrochloric acid (vinegar & salt.)
Did not change color to pink, purple or violet.
Test 2: A medium glass of warm H20. Sprinkle a 1/2 tsp of turmeric on top. Wait 20-30 mins.
Most trumeric on the bottom of the glass (is a good result.) Water a slight orange color (yellow/orange) with slight particulate suspended in the H20.
Conclusion: Good quality turmeric with very slight particulate and no evidence of Metanil yellow or Kesaridal.
When in doubt, always best to test!

Turmeric powder is a superfood native to India, bearing the scientific name Curcuma longa. Turmeric is the spice that gives curry its yellow color. It has been used in India for thousands of years as a spice and medicinal herb. Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric.
Turmeric powder contains good amounts of protein, vitamin C, calcium, iron, dietary fiber, sodium, and about 24 calories in a 1 tablespoon serving of turmeric powder. Fake product, this is not pure turmeric !!!

Organic or not, but this product is not real ground turmeric root powder. I have been using turmeric for over 50 years or rather my entire life and this is one of the most prominent Indian spice. My mom would grunt her own turmeric root to make this powder. I know the authentic stuff. I never had to use over a quarter spoon and perhaps a half tea spoon for a huge batch. I have had to use 3-4 teaspoons for every use (curry or dry saute) and it does not give any yellow color or the real strong taste. Sheer waste of money.Get yours from any Indian store - go for only 1/2 teaspoon at most for your turmeric milk. Throw this product out. I can’t even return this after much patience and use as I had ordered two packets unfortunately.Ignore and yes, the two packets I received were both different - but both have same quality issues. I wish I can return mine or be refunded.

Wow! This stuff is on a completely different level from the turmeric available at the supermarket. Wonderful color, taste and aroma. purchased to use in my own home made anti-inflammatory face, mask, cooking, morning tea and shakes.
Really seems like a high-quality product. We use so much turmeric in our household, it's nice to have such a high-quality source. Turmeric help get rid of cold/flu-like symptoms, medicine as an anti-inflammatory agent to treat a wide variety of conditions. I use this to make 'Golden Paste' too.
