I hate to write a bad review since I was sure this was the answer to scraping off ALL the frost/ice. Nevertheless, it wasn't the answer.

I bought one for my daughter and myself. Both of us found the ice scraper didn't fully remove ice. The ends of each side scraped just about 1/2 inch each, but the middle wasn't scraping any ice/frost off our windows. Thus, the windows do not get scraped completely without scraping only using the ends. And this takes way too long, especially in the wind chills below 0. The handle is very comfortable, but we found that the item(s) didn't perform well.

Initially when I received the 2 premium ice scraper set in the mail I thought they were a bit longer than usual and the handle while soft felt a little big in my hand. We've had an unusually warm winter this year in North Dakota so I haven't had a chance to use it but threw one in my SUV and the other in my wife's car as I knew what was coming. Today, I awoke and was running late when what to my wondering eyes would appear but thick ice on all my windows and mirrors! Needless to say the extra length, padded handle and sharp tough polycarbonate blade allowed me to use both hands to clear away the frost/ice twice as fast as my previous scraper - even made it to work on time!

The thick strong plastic and mesh handles help to make this a fantastic product.

I bought these because I needed to work through the Oregon Ice storms this past winter and nearly every evening when I returned to my car, there was about 1/2 inch of ice every time. This scraper quickly busted though the ice, and had me out of there in a few minutes.
This is much better quality then the multi-head or cheap scrapers that I have tried and is also small enough to fit in a bag or purse.
The mesh handle keeps your hand from freezing and the strong plastic give you the confidence you will actually make it home.

If it didn't come in a two pack, I would have bought another.

Solid, easy to use

I'm very happy with the quality. These have had no issue getting through ice and fit perfectly in the pocket of my car door. I did go ahead and order a couple more, not because the scrapers themselves had any issues but only because I actually wound up having to use one to chip away some ice that was under my tires to get out of a parking spot. The scraper actually DID get through it enough to pull the ice up and I was able to get out of the parking spot I was stuck in. It did mean that the scraper had some chips after along the edge so now doesn't quite do as good a job getting ice off the windshield but it's still holding up and I'm keeping it on hand for using on heavier ice. Regardless, these are well worth the money and I'm very very happy.

Not the solution to tough ice

Received these just in time for a light-to-moderate freezing rain - I've seen much worse. Even using the "special holding technique" to break through tough ice, they couldn't get through the ice on my windshield without an assist from the defroster, which defeats the purpose - the defroster would work on its own eventually, anyway. I was hoping these would finally replace the crappy $2.99 ice scraper that I have carried for years for lack of trying to replace it, but that one actually works better.

Good for the price

Soft handle cover has already torn. The handle is fairly large and could be much smaller to appeal to more audiences. The base design is a great start regarding the reinforcing plastic beams inside the handle. The product stands up to heavy pressure while scraping. Moving forward if they manufactured the product utilizing a HDPE compound, while lengthening the design, they'd have an outstanding product.

I have used this a couple of times and am very happy with the performance, though I haven't had to use it on really thick ice yet. The smooth edge does a good job on my windshield and the handle feels very sturdy and comfortable with either hand. I also like that the handle does not get cold or freeze to my gloves when wet. Nothing makes windshield scraping fun, but this product makes it a lot faster and easier.

These are like professional ice scrapers, if ever there was such a thing. They get the job done well because they are very sturdy yet lightweight enough so your arm doesn't wear out. Plus, they are not too wide nor too narrow so it's efficient to use even on side windows of the car. One of the best things I like is the handle that I can really grip. I'm glad I bought these!
