I've done a lot of self-assembled PAGG stacks in the past but decided to try this product out because LAZINESS. It's a decent value for about a month's supply so why not give it a try? Also, the bottles are pretty!
The stack arrived in the mail and then things took a turn.
Looking at the label, I was baffled by the filler ingredients. Yellow 6, Red 3, and the carcinogen TITANIUM DIOXIDE. Why were these necessary? I've never found any of those ingredients in any of my self-assembled stacks. But I figured a month of consuming said fillers four times a day was unlikely to do permanent damage. Nonetheless, I was immediately put off about the prospect of re-ordering in the future. I began to dread the possibility that the product would be awesome and thus create the dilemma of wanting more of it while simultaneously not wanting to consume the fillers. Fortunately, or unfortunately based on the expense, that ended up not being an issue.
I don't want to cast aspersions, but for this next bit, a little background will be helpful. I've been cycling Alpha Lipoic Acid for 7 years. It's awesome. Even when not combined with the other ingredients in PAGG, it works great. I've tried a lot of products because supplements aren't regulated so you never know what you're actually taking. In 7 years I've learned a couple of crucial tells for knowing if you are taking a good quality ALA. The most pronounced of which might make some readers here squeamish so ... trigger warning I guess. Good quality ALA makes your pee smell funny. There! That wasn't so bad, right? It's kind of a weird side effect but if ALA makes your pee smell funny, it's good quality ALA. This product did not produce this effect, telling me that perhaps the dose is actually lower than advertised on the label, or the ALA just isn't of a good quality. Bummer.
Back to the trenches of assembling stacks myself ...

Deceptive Labeling - subpar product

Very Deceptive - the labels in the pictures shown on Amazon have a breakdown of the EGCG content and Aged Garlic bulb, the actual product labels contain nothing like that. Even if it actually does contain what the listing says it does, I have to go by what the bottle says, and its a bait and switch. DO NOT get this stuff - getting each supplement separately here on Amazon will cost you about the same as this product.
