I was happily surprised with the quality of this press. I know it isn't rocket science, but when I buy this type of tool for my home shop, I expect it to work and not fall apart the first time I give it the full monty. This press is well designed and well built. Minimal assembly required, and if you can't figure out how to assemble or work it from the photo - you need to take your job to a professional instead of buying the tool. My highest recommendation: I'll be buying more tools from this company in the future with no worries.

Do not buy this press, this thing is beyond cheep and Dangerous. Needed it to press some new u joints. arrived broken and with paint flaking off. While using the first time, one of the hooks holding the springs on broke. i was able to rig it up with a rigging strap and shackle to get the job done. The only reason mine didn't go out in the garbage right after that is because i feel i can fix it with a few well placed welds. Classic case of "you get what you pay for".

This is exactly what it should be; a 6 ton press with 6 bolts, 2 springs, and a jack. It takes no more than 10 minutes to put this together. The four short bolts hold the feet on the legs and the two long bolts hold the two press plates together; which sit on the two support rods.

This is a good product.

Mine worked perfectly and had not problems.
I did notice that some reviews complained of poor documentation and lack of instructions on how to assemble it.

Although it did not have step by step instructions for assembly, it did include a detailed picture of what it was supposed to look like and those that were mentioning that the holes were cut too short, need to look at the diagram again as that part fits *over* the cross bar, not through it.

First off I made the same mistake as so many others. I thought the black c beams were supposed to be held in place by the black rods. It was not until I came back here and looked at the pictures of the press that I figured out my mistake. It is as it is designed and works. Is it perfrect? NO but I used it to press out 2 U joints on my 92 F150. Got the job done.. What is not perfect you ask? Pictures show:

1. the plate the pump sits on with the rod is bent causing the pump to not sit centered.
2. Because its not centered the push rod rubs during use.
3. The paint started to come off the contact plates but then again it a 6 ton press... not exactly expecting it to stay "as new"

Other then these observations the press does what it is designed to do and I did not have to spend a whole lot on it. For the casual users that I am this press works great and I saved a bunch.

Don't buy it!!! Missing bolts to bolt bottom angle legs. Missing bolts too hold together cross arms. The jack was empty, after filling it, it all leaked out the bottom. The jack slides all over the plate it sits on. Thank goodness I am mechanicly inclined to make all modifications to soot my needs. Yes I did buy it thru amazon. Very disappointed!!!! Only 1 star due to the said I had to give 1 to post this.

Upper jack plate receiver is not centered and so it pushes at an angle. Paint scuffed very bad, missing pieces, totally junk press even if it was cheap. The press is not level as a result. If I had a 100 ton hydraulic press I would put this 6 ton press in it and smash it into a boat anchor.
