I purchased this weighted blanket to assist my teenage daughter with better quality sleep. She currently uses several sleep aids such as a sleeping mask and soft calming music, but still sleeps very restless and wakes up in the night. She has used it for several nights and reports no waking in the night now! Her bed covers use to be a total mess when she would awake in the morning indicating tons of tossing and turning, but are hardly moved now. The size fits perfectly on top of her queen bed. The weight is just right as it provides the hugging security but not restricting in any way. I ordered the rose petal pink/moon shadow gray colors and they are reflective and brilliant. The texture is so soft and is amazing to the touch. The zipper side of the outer cover did not have the tie-down ribbons as stated in the directions, but all 4 corners did. I appreciate that the outer cover can be removed and washed.
