I don't know. I must be missing something other people are seeing in this book.
The information in the book is very, very basic. Stuff I learned on my own just skimming the web. The layout of the book looks like it was done by an amateur. For example page 5 consists of 2 sentences, 1 and a partial actually. You think OK it's the end of that chapter, or section, but nope, the chapter continues on page 6. The recipes seem to be spaced out to take up as much room as possible, and usually just 1 recipe per page, even short little recipes like "Pancake Mix" - all of 5 ingredients and three lines of instructions.
The "Master Food Storage Tips" touted on the cover are highly limited in scope, but I will say the "Easy To Follow Recipes" are just that. There is nothing very hard or complicated to any of the suggested dishes. The only one I might have a hard time with, at first, would be having to skin a rabbit or squirrel. (and once again, this particular recipe consists of 2 ingredients and 6 lines of instructions, which equals one page.)
To be completely fair I did find a few recipes that sounded good enough to keep on hand just in case, but for the most part I already have a lot of these recipes filed away, or already know how to make them.
So, bottom line... if you're looking for a very basic cook book for your food storage, with lots and lots of room for notes, and don't mind parting with a hard earned $8.00 or $9.00, then this is it.
Unless of course I'm missing something.

This seems like an amateur self-published book. There's nothing wrong with self-publishing, unless you don't know how to do it.
The layout is awful–just terribly designed. The content is okay–it will work if you find it laying on the ground during the apocalypse–but if you're choosing to spend money on something, there's much better options out there. This book is so bad, that after receiving it, I had to start my search all over again for a food storage / prepping cookbook. I ended up finding, and liking, Cooking With Food Storage Made Easy by Debbie G Harman. Not only does it tell you what foods and quantities you need for basic survival, it also gives tons of suggestions for expanded storage and creature comforts–along with hundreds of recipes of how to cook with these raw ingredients.
Overall, I can't recommend The Prepared Prepper's Cookbook to anyone. It's better than nothing, but not much.

I wanted to wait before posting a review till I tried some of these recipes. So far I have made Peach Cobbler, Cuban Rice & Chicken, Chicken Penne. Chili, Peanut Butter Cookies, Mac & Cheese with Ham, Whole Wheat Banana Bread, Apple Sauce Cake and Beef Macaroni. I loved ALL of them! This cookbook has become a culinary experiment for me. Best of all, these recipes are EASY and fast to whip up. Will update after trying more.

I really like this cookbook. I collect many, but this one would be vital to those putting back some supplies for a rainy day. There are many basic sauces and recipes that can be made with those long term supplies. Why wait till an emergency, using this for every day recipes.

At first I thought this book was just for beginners and was going to give the book to a young relative, just starting out. I looked at the book a second time, thinking I would try some of the recipes, they are good old fashioned recipes like my grandmother made. I am keeping this book and buying another copy for my neice, who is interested in being prepared. The reason I am keeping this book is that in a SHTF sennerio, I can just open THE PREPARED PREPPERS COOKBOOK and cook from my pantry. I know in a stressful situation my thoughts will be on overload and will be overwhelmed with other more important things than "what should I cook." This book is basic enough to hand to my granddaughter and say "cook this", I have other things to tend to. Many of us already know the basics in this cookbook, but in an emergency this book will be invaluable for helping the younger people in our household learn the basics of pantry cooking. Put this with all your other reference books, you won't regret it.

I am very happy with this book, as it shows you how to use your dehydrated and freeze dried foods to make meals for the family. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is I wish there were more recipes and it was a little larger. But, I think it is a great buy.

This cookbook is really fantastic! The ingredients are those easily found in just about any pantry & some are even listed as optional. Directions are very clear & I can't wait to give some of the recipes a try. The author really did an amazing job selecting recipes. Thank you!

I was hoping for a preppers book on food, like food storage, tips on saving food, some food prep to prolong life of food. Nothing …. Just some sub par recipes mostly on baking breads, muffins, biscuits all of which won’t last past a few days. There’s two pages on how much -weight-of food is needed to keep you alive for one year. That’s it for the prep portion. Very dissatisfied
