The only wireless presenter and mouse that stores and charges inside your laptop. Mogo Presenter Mouse X54 â¿¿ the combined wireless presenter and mouse â¿¿ features a compact form factor and a fingernail-sized, USB Bluetooth adapter. Its sleek size and shape let MoGo Presenter Mouse X54 store and charge inside your laptopâ¿¿s ExpressCard/54 slot â¿¿ a â¿¿must haveâ¿¿ for every laptop.
From the Manufacturer
Manufacturer Description The MoGo Presenter Mouse X54 combines a unique wireless mouse and a presenter remote in a small package that can store and charge in your laptop's ExpressCard/54 slot. Using your computer's Bluetooth connectivity, you can use the Presenter Mouse X54 as a full-function mouse or as a remote to control your presentations from up to 30 feet away from your laptop.
Designed with the traveler in mind, the Presenter Mouse X54 is not your usual mouse. Rather than trying to squeeze an awkwardly shaped external mouse in your laptop bag, you store the X54 inside the laptop itself, in your computer's PC Card slot, where it's also charged.
When you need it, just eject it from the card slot, flip out the integrated kickstand to comfortably position the mouse, and you're ready for action. The X54 offers the same functionality as conventional laser wireless mice -- scroll, right click, left click -- without the bulky, oversized design.
The Presenter Mouse X54 is compatible with laptops with an ExpressCard/54 slot. If your PC has a PCMCIA, Type I/II, or Cardbus slot, you should use the MoGo Mouse BT. (See accompanying chart for the performance features and compatibility details of each MoGo Mouse.)
Full-Size Performance and Features
The Presenter Mouse measures just 2.1 x 0.2 x 3.1 inches (WxHxD), but that doesn't mean it doesn't offer the same performance as larger mice. With a patent-pending optical system, it provides 800 DPI resolution for precise tracking. It also has two buttons, the ability to scroll, and is Bluetooth-enabled, offering wireless operation with a range of 30 feet. (To add Bluetooth capability to your laptop, you can use the MoGo Micro USB Bluetooth Adapter, sold separately, or purchase the MoGo Presenter Mouse X54 and Bluetooth Adapter combo.)
Give Great Presentations Wirelessly
In addition to functioning as a mouse, the Presenter Mouse X54 does double duty as a presentation tool with the push of a button. The Presenter Mouse lets you go forward and back on presentation slides, and has a start/escape button. A laser pointer is also built in, so you can highlight and add emphasis to your presentations.
Built-In Rechargeable Battery Saves Money and the Environment
Unlike other wireless mice that require expensive and environmentally unfriendly battery replacements every few months, the Presenter Mouse X54 has a built-in rechargeable battery that is automatically charged every time you store it inside the ExpressCard/54 slot. This saves you money and helps you protect the environment. It takes about 30 minutes to recharge the battery, and a single charge gets about 8 to 10 hours of normal use.
The MoGo Presenter Mouse X54 is backed by a two-year warranty.

Similarly, as a presenter this mouse is great. Comfortable, small, functional... the built in laser is a great touch. It's basically everything you could want in a bluetooth presenter.
Of course, the biggest feature of the mouse is its ability to store and charge within a PCI-Express slot on your laptop. The mouse is hidden away in my laptop except for the very tip of the end nub, which uses LEDs to show charging status. Whipping it out is a momentary task, and the mouse is ready to use almost instantly. While I've been too lasy to drag around my other notebook mouse, this one is definitely getting some use.
There are only really a few issues that I would bring up in the functioning of the mouse. One, the inclusion of the touch strip scroll wheel is a welcome addition, but the actual implementation seems off. Scroll speeds are jerky and unpredictable, and it frequently gets the direction of the scroll wrong. Second, the mouse has light which blinks to let you know which mode it is in. It looks pretty, but the annoying constant blinking light has a way of drawing attention towards the mouse and away from whatever you're trying to present.
I can't speak to the long-term durability of the mouse, as it hasn't been released for very long. This review may be revised downward in the future if longevity issues arise. But for the moment at least, I've finally found a notebook mouse / presenter that I can actually use. A great Sophomore effort from Newton Peripherals.
I loved the idea and when the package arrived I loved it even more.
Stylish, light and extreme mobility are what makes this an excellent
The battery seems good, i haven't ran out of juice while using it, though
I am worried about how long will it keep its performance since the MoGo/HP mouse
recharges just as you place it back in the slot before fully discharging.
I did notice that not all surfaces are friendly, but it is not as bad as a normal
The responsiveness is good, however i noticed some glitches or freezes from time
to time, still can't pin point it to being a bluetooth sleep issue or not.
Other than that, this little device is amazing and would recommend it to anyone
who would like to use a normal mouse while being mobile.
The optical laser on this thing is so precise. I can put it on my right leg and use it. It is that precise. The left and right click are perfect also. The scroll is taking some time to get used to - it is no wheel but that is really no big deal.
Now, with the click of a button underneath the mouse turns into presenter mode. With ease you can switch through slides in say PowerPoint or whatever you are using. Also, there is a laser pointer which is so key today when presenting. I can't be happier with this product. Great price too compared to the manufacturers website.
Other than that, the mouse is fantastic, comfortable, easy to use, and MUCH better than a trackpad. Everytime I pull it out I have at least one person ask what it is and where I got it.
