"I adored it! There was so much to love! I loved theoriginal quotes for Pride and Prejudice sprinkled in, I loved the charactersand how their modern counterparts were very similar to their classic siblingsbut still had a way of being original." -- Margie's Must Reads
"It's the sort of book where your heart skips a beat insome scenes, in other scenes, it beats faster, then you have tears in your eyeseither because of laughing or crying." -- Obsessed with Mr. Darcy.
"I've always wanted to read a modern-day Pride andPrejudice with Mr. Darcy as the POTUS, and now we finally have it. I'm a happy, happy girl. Some scenes were hilariously absurd, others cute and awkward, andthe rest so swoon-worthy. This Mr. Darcy is so adorable! I want to keep him formyself!" - Of Pens and Pages
About the Author
The author of numerous best-selling Pride and Prejudice variations, historical romance writer Victoria Kincaid has a Ph.D. in English literature and runs a small business, er, household with two children, a hyperactive dog, an overly affectionate cat, and a husband who is not threatened by Mr. Darcy. They live near Washington DC, where the inhabitants occasionally stop talking about politics long enough to complain about the traffic. On weekdays she is a freelance writer/editor who specializes in IT marketing (it’s more interesting than it sounds) and teaches business writing. A lifelong Austen fan, Victoria has read more Jane Austen variations and sequels than she can count – and confesses to an extreme partiality for the Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice.
