However, instead of using the games as it is written... i think a new approach with the pieces will better teach logic to kids.... set up the game with only one tower. The parent man's the tower and kid tries to solve it. Then the players switch. The number of turns it takes to solve a combo is your points... keep on switching until each player has completed the same number of rounds. Whoever has the lowest score at end wins.... ie it took them the least number of turns to solve the combos. This method decreases the absolute win/lose problem with the game... but does not fully eliminate it. But it does encourage the logical attempt to decrease number of turns per round.
To teach logic my husband and I both preferred Logik Street.
