After attempting to play this game with my 10-year-old sports fanatic son, I found it way too hard, even for me and my friends. I've been an avid sports fan all 49 years of my life, but even so, I found the questions extremely challenging. If you want a game to play with a group of die-hard sports nerds who are over 35, this game is maybe okay (not great), in that no one will get a bunch of easy questions to answer. But even then, you can easily hit a streak of questions with utterly obscure answers that will have everyone groaning over the impossibility of knowing who won the men's silver medal in speedskating in 1964, or who set the ABA record for most assists during a game one night in June of 1967 in Philadelphia ... Okay, I made those two up, but you get the idea. Those are seriously the kind of wild-hare questions this game is filled with.

It's a shame because the game could be a lot of fun if it included different levels of difficulty. There should be some sets of questions set up for average sports fans (people who did not memorize Chris Berman's baseball nicknames from 1988-1994), or, better yet, if it also included a section dedicated to recent sports trivia, say, 2008 to the present. That time frame would open the game up to young sports fans. Kids are often as good as adults or even better at recent sports trivia, and they are a natural audience for this product. Sadly, Pressman instead hired some hostile former Jeapordy contestants to devise questions that would prove how stupid the rest of us are.

Pressman missed the boat on this one. Instead of a game a whole family can play, uniting generations, they offered a game almost no one can play. For me, the purchase was a complete waste of money.

It's a nice game but since it is a board game you need a 3rd person to read the questions.

Game is fun if you know alot about sports and players - not so fun if you just watch sports on the weekends. Good for ESPN Sports Center viewers and those who read sports magazines. It is good for all ages because it has a variety of questions from the past as well as more current trivia. It covers a wide variety of sports as well. Overall I am satisfied with the game - it is a good nonvideo game for my son and his friends.
