That's when I searched for another and saw the ceramic coated version. I was already swearing by the ceramic waffle iron which is absolutely the best, so decided to try this too. Nothing at all sticks to the ceramic. The skillet holds the heat better and distributes it better as well. And it cooks the best bacon ever!
Some of the new Crock pots and pressure cookers state you can fry in their products which I’m sure you can in some capacity but I believe things taste much better when fried/cooked in a frying pan versus a deep pot. I’ve fried my meatballs in this and they get a great crust... my sons favorite is pepper steak which taste great when using this Presto frying pan! I brown the strips of meat then once the meat is seared well and all ingredients are added I turn the heat down to 250 degrees and cook for a few hours, stirring occasionally, it melts in your mouth!
Shipping was fast, packaging was good!
Unfortunately, I feel that in all honesty, I need to change my review. Previous Presto skillets would remain non stick for at least 4 to 5 years. We thought the Ceramic version would be even better. NOT !. After just about 1 year, we began to have problems. Now after just 14 months, everything sticks. I have written to Presto but they have not responded.
