Whitney DeVries isn’t the first girl forced to don black ballet slippers and a pink skirt for her would-be killer. While Kelsey Willard’s body was never found, her disappearance seven years ago exposes her family’s still unhealed wounds. It’s up to Bureau of Criminal Investigation agent Mark Foster to dig deeper to find the truth, even as the neighbors hesitate to reveal much and the Willards keep changing their story.
With each pointed step, we see more secrets hiding under the surface. And with every musical beat, I anxiously read as the mystery unraveled like the ribbons on those ballet shoes. Pretty Girls Dancing kept me engrossed until the very end.
